Paniati's Third Swamp Guinea Open Championship Is Wire-to-Wire
Thirty-three years after his 2nd Swamp Guinea Open Championship, Jeff Paniati is the SGO Champion again! The 43rd SGO started April 25, 2026, Paniati grabbed the lead in the first round and never looked back. Steady play over 4 days resulted in the victory for one of the old-time SGOers. The top 3 included Jeff Paniati, defending Champion Jeff Lindley and Kevin Goeddel. The reduced size of the field (7 players) provided for relatively quick pace of play, and pleasant weather prevailed for the SGO with a couple chilly starts, but avoiding any predicted rains. Thanks to Robert for another great golf outing, and Congratulations to Jeff and all the participants!
